Manual Lymph Drainage
(MLD) is a very light touch technique that uses gentle, slow, and rhythmic hand movements to help move lymph fluid from swollen areas to areas where the lymphatic system is functioning normally. This can help reduce swelling caused by lymphedema, which can occur when the lymphatic system's process is disrupted, such as after surgery. A MLD session is not a massage. Swedish (Relaxation) Massage
Swedish Massage is one of the most common types of massage, and helps to energize the body, relieve stress or pain, and improve overall health by relaxing tight muscles, relieving tension, and promoting blood circulation. Swedish massage may help reduce symptoms of depression, stress, and anxiety. Massage can also help to improve mood by promoting the production of dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin. These hormones act to stabilize your mood, helping you feel happy and positive. Massage can often act to reduce the production of cortisol, a stress-causing hormone, and can help to boost your immunity.
Our full body session can include work on the hands, arms, shoulders, pecs, feet, legs, glutes, hips, back and neck. You can also include hot stones (Himalayan Salt Stones) in your Swedish Massage session for an additional $10. Each session is customized to the client's unique needs.

Our upper body massage obviously includes work specifically in these problem areas, but this area-specific massage can also include the hips, glutes, and hamstrings if needed. "Mother-To-Be" Massage*
Our Mother-To-Be massage is a side-lying massage with pillows for support. Prenatal massage is a healthy way to reduce tension & stress, increase circulation, and provide comfort for mothers who are in their 2nd and 3rd trimester. This 60-minute session is a full body massage, and I only use coconut oil in this relaxing massage.
*We do not offer massage for mothers in their 1st trimester.

Geriatric / Senior Massage (70+ years)
This light touch massage is a little more gentle for Seniors, and is great for clients 70 and older. There are several variations of this massage, from 30-minutes of upper body work only (neck/back/shoulders), to a 60-min full body massage.
